Concert by the Toronto indie-pop quartet Valley, with opening act Moody Joody, at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville.
Valley play Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Wednesday, March 10, 2027, with Moody Joody opening. The Toronto quartet has built a following on a sound that sits right between indie pop and alternative rock, built around shimmering synthesizers, propulsive drum beats, and dual male-female vocals weaving into intricate harmonies. If you've heard them before, it's likely from the Gold-certified hit "Like 1999" or the album Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden. "Maybe" introduced their earnest songwriting and polished production, and "Last Birthday" further cemented their reputation. They've amassed more than 1.2 billion global streams across their catalog.
There's a bit of a story to how they came together. The band formed by chance when a double-booking at a recording studio brought together vocalist and drummer Rob Laska, guitarist Michael Brandolino, bassist Alex Dimauro, and vocalist and keyboardist Karah James. Since then, they've played major festivals including Boston Calling, Governors Ball, Osheaga, and Festival d'été de Québec, opened for Post Malone in front of more than 80,000 fans, made their U.S. late-night TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and sold out their 2024 North American headline tour. If you're a fan of The 1975, LANY, or COIN, their sound will feel familiar.
