A family-friendly Halloween celebration with trick-or-treating, face painting, a movie and a costume contest.
Assembly Food Hall is hosting Trick or Treatery on Saturday, October 31, from 11 AM to 2 PM. It's a family-friendly Halloween celebration open to all ages, and the whole thing is free to attend.
The main draw is exactly what the name suggests: trick-or-treating. You can work your way through more than 30 eateries and bars across the hall, picking up treats and Halloween goodies at each one. It's a good way to get the kids out in costume without having to drive from house to house across the neighborhood. There's complimentary face painting starting right at 11 AM, and food and drink specials run throughout the afternoon, so you can grab a meal while you're there.
If you're planning to go, there are a few house rules to keep in mind. The hall has a specific bag policy: medical bags, parenting bags, clear 12"x12" bags, and non-clear 6.5"x4.5" bags are allowed after X-ray screening. Backpacks of any kind are not permitted, and no outside food or drinks are allowed inside. It's worth double-checking your bag before you head over so you don't have to leave anything behind.

As for the logistics, it's free to attend, though they recommend RSVPing for a chance to win a free Hall Pass gift card. You'll find it at Assembly Food Hall, 5055 Broadway Place, Nashville, TN 37203, on Saturday, October 31, from 11 AM to 2 PM.
