A pregame party held at Riverfront Park before the Titans game, open to the public without a game ticket.
The Titans PreGame Park Party is happening at Riverfront Park on Sunday, October 11, from 10 AM to 12 PM, just before the Titans game. It's free and open to the public, and you don't need a game ticket to hang out there.
Riverfront Park sits right across First Avenue, and it was created in the early 1980s to commemorate Nashville's river history. The city's first settlers arrived by land and by river along the Cumberland in the 1780s, and they built a two-acre fort around a freshwater spring among the cedar trees on the river bluff. A 1930 replica of that settlement, Fort Nashborough, stands north of the park in Bicentennial Park. Also in Bicentennial Park are Alan LeQuire's statue of Timothy Demonbreun, an early French Canadian fur trader, and Puryear Mims's sculpture of town founders James Robertson and John Donelson. Across the river, but highly visible from Broadway, sits Alice Aycock's monumental sculpture Ghost Ballet for the East Bank Machineworks, installed in 2007.
