A Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament played on Nintendo Switch at the Skydeck, open to all ages with themed drinks and prizes for winners.
Skydeck at Assembly Food Hall is hosting a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament on Sunday, October 25, and it's open to all ages. The matches run on Nintendo Switch, so you'll be playing the same version you've got at home. There's a trophy for the champion, plus a $100 Hall Pass gift card; second place takes a $50 card, and third gets $25. The night also features themed alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so there's something to sip on whether you're competing or just watching.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Assembly Food Hall is one of those Nashville spots that lives up to the "a lot of everything" description. It's a food hall with more than 20 eateries, each with a chef-curated menu inspired by global cultures and local flavors, alongside ten craft cocktail bars. The rooftop is where you'll find live bands, sports watch parties, and dancing. One thing to keep in mind: it's a cashless venue. Vendors and bars take debit and credit cards, though there are cash kiosks on-site where you can buy a Hall Pass. Seating is open across plenty of tables, and the whole space can be booked for large groups.
Before you head over, be aware of the bag policy. Backpacks aren't allowed. Approved bags include medical and parenting bags, clear 12"x12" bags, and non-clear 6.5"x4.5" bags, all of which go through X-ray screening. It's the kind of detail that's easy to overlook until you're at the door, so it's worth double-checking your bag size before you leave.
