A family-friendly running event offering 5K, 10K and half marathon distances through local parks, with a Kids Dash for children aged 10 and under.
Spooky Sprint hits Two Rivers Park on Saturday, October 17, with three distances to choose from: a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon. The races start at 8 AM, and the course runs through local parks to keep the traffic off the neighborhood streets. It's put on by Bodies Race Company, a family-friendly running organization that builds its events around 'Fun. Family. Fitness' and says it sets out to keep communities healthy, active and united. They describe the race as welcoming to every pace and fitness level, with age-group awards across many categories, so you don't have to be a seasoned runner to get in on it.
Every registration comes with a designer shirt, a custom finisher medal, chip-timing with live results, and free finish-line photos and snacks. The morning wraps up with an after party. If you've got kids, there's a Kids Dash for ages 10 and under. There's also a virtual race option you can run any day, anytime and anywhere, and a Volunteer then Run option if you'd rather help out before you compete. Bodies Race Company offers a free Bodies Membership with perks like early registration access and swag discounts, and they run a Bodies Store for race gear.
