A family-friendly morning featuring a sound bath with crystal bowls and gongs, a kids' art pop-up, and a movement session.
Sparkleheart is leading a family-friendly sound bath at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM to 11 AM. The morning is built around them: they're a mother-and-daughter band, and they'll be working with crystal bowls and gongs to create the sound bath. The whole thing is pitched as something you can do with your kids, rather than something you have to find a sitter for.
That's where the other two parts of the morning come in. While the adults lie back and unwind to the bowls and gongs, there's a kids' art pop-up from Karst Studio to keep the little ones occupied. And Dancing Bones will be leading a movement session. The idea is that the adults get their quiet time and the kids get their own thing to do, all in the same space.

It's a one-hour session, open to all ages, and there's no registration required—you just show up. If you want something to lie on, bring a mat or a blanket. The sound bath is free, so it's a low-stakes way to spend a Saturday morning with the family. You'll find it at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center, 1900 Davidson St, Nashville, TN 37206, on October 17 from 10 AM to 11 AM.
