Public Image Ltd are playing Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Friday, October 9, as part of This Is Not The Last Tour. They're bringing along Plague Vendor to open the night.
If you're not familiar with the name, PiL is the British experimental rock band John Lydon formed in 1978 after he left the Sex Pistols. Lydon fronted the group from their debut First Issue through 1992's That What Is Not, then took a seventeen-year hiatus before reactivating the band in 2009. Since then, they've put out This is PiL (2012), What The World Needs Now... (2015), and End of World (2023). The tour they're on now, This Is Not The Last Tour, was announced back in 2023-2024 and is billed as one of the band's final touring periods.
