Concert by rock singer Peyton Parrish, known for his Viking-inspired warrior style and viral covers.
Peyton Parrish plays the mainstage at Cannery Hall on Friday, November 6, starting at 8 PM. If you've come across his name before, it was probably through a screen: he's a singer who built a huge following online, and this is one of those nights where you get to hear that voice in a room rather than through headphones.
Born in Tarzana, California, in 1996, Parrish is known for a throaty, Viking-inspired warrior style that puts the vocals front and center. He first went viral in 2020 with a cover of "My Mother Told Me," a song featured in the TV show Vikings. From there, he leaned into the sound that defines him—heavy on the Norse influence and delivered with a grit that fits the imagery. In 2021, he put three songs at number one on the Billboard charts: "Miracle of Sound," "Valhalla Calling," and "I'll Make A Man Out Of You," the latter a cover of the Mulan soundtrack.
In 2022, he released his first album, Rise of Vikingr, which debuted at number one across all iTunes genres. It's the record that brings his online presence into a full-length format, and it sits right where his music usually lands: at the crossroads of Rock, Viking Rock, and Hard Rock. He's also a businessman on the side; in 2021 he founded Parrish Entertainment LLC, a company that produces video-game commercials and entertainment for gaming companies.
