Stand-up comedy show with Kathleen Madigan at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Kathleen Madigan is playing the Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, October 10, starting at 7 PM. It's a stand-up comedy show, and she's the only name on the bill.
If you're not familiar with her, Madigan is a road comic who's spent three decades touring and recording specials without ever leaning on a major TV or movie role to keep her name out there. She's a St. Louis native and a journalism graduate from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, and she split her time between Nashville and the Missouri Ozarks early on. She got her start at the St. Louis Funny Bone Comedy Club after working as a waitress and a journalist.
She's released seven stand-up specials, including The Family Thread (2025) on Amazon Prime, and she filmed a half-hour special for HBO. Along the way, she's appeared on more than 40 late-night and daytime talk shows—Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld, The Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show among them. In 2020, she launched Madigan's Pubcast, which has grown to over 200 episodes and more than 10 million streams.
