Free outdoor afternoon of live jazz on the Hillside and bluegrass in the Barn from The Lilliston Effect at Arrington Vineyards.
The Lilliston Effect play Arrington Vineyards on Sunday, November 8, as part of the Music in the Vines series. It's a free show, starting at 3 PM.
Music in the Vines is Arrington Vineyards' outdoor music series, and it's built around a pretty specific split: live jazz on the Hillside and bluegrass in the Barn. The two stages run alongside each other, so you can drift between the jazz and the bluegrass throughout the afternoon. The series also features a Songwriter Series, which brings in local songwriters for a set of acoustic covers and originals.
On the food side, Simply Living Life and The Derby Desserts & Coffee handle the eats, so you've got a full spread to go with the music, all with the vineyard views as the backdrop. It's the kind of afternoon where you can settle in and stay for a while, moving between the two stages as you feel like it.
