Nashville Ballet's glittering rendition of Cinderella, with live music by the Nashville Symphony, performed for the first time in TPAC's Jackson Hall.
Nashville Ballet brings Cinderella to Jackson Hall at TPAC for a run of four performances from February 26 through February 28, 2027. It's a returning production, but this time it's playing in Jackson Hall with live music from the Nashville Symphony—the first time this version has been staged there with a live orchestra.
It's the fairytale you know: a courageous young woman searching for her destiny, a handsome prince searching for the owner of a glass slipper, and a Fairy Godmother lending a hand. The production is billed as perfect for audience members of all ages, so it works as a family outing as much as a night out for anyone who loves ballet.
Behind the scenes, the production is the work of Artistic Director Emeritus Paul Vasterling, who handled the choreography, story interpretation, and direction. The music is by Sergei Prokofiev, performed live by the Nashville Symphony, with scenic design by James Kronzer. Having the orchestra in the room changes the whole experience—you're hearing the score as it happens rather than from a recording.

There are four chances to catch it over one weekend: Friday, February 26 at 7:30 PM; Saturday, February 27 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM; and Sunday, February 28 at 2 PM. That's a choice between a Friday night, a Saturday matinee, a Saturday night, or a Sunday matinee, so you can pick the slot that fits your schedule best. All four are at Jackson Hall, part of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center at 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville.
