A fun, low-impact cardio workout combining drumming and music, suitable for all ages and fitness levels with no prior experience needed.
Cardio Drumming is coming to Walk of Fame Park on Monday, October 19, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a free community workout presented by Nashville Fit Magazine and Nashville Wellness Club, with Cardio Drum Nation leading the session.
If you've never tried it, the premise is pretty straightforward: it's a low-impact cardio workout that combines drumming, music, and easy-to-follow routines for a full-body fitness experience. They pitch it as something that works for all ages and fitness levels, and you don't need any drumming experience to join in. The session is open to everyone, so you can show up on your own or bring a crew along with you.
Behind the scenes, the workout is programmed by the Nashville Downtown Partnership in collaboration with Metro Parks Nashville. Because it's held outdoors at Walk of Fame Park, it runs weather permitting, so keep an eye on the forecast before you head downtown. The park is located at 121 4th Avenue South, right in the heart of the city.
