Free game night at Roxy's Cabaret with Super Smash Bros. on a giant LED wall, plus board and card games, before the venue's Smash Bros. tournament.
Roxy's Cabaret is hosting an Ultimate Game Night: Super Smash Bros on Wednesday, December 23, from 7 PM to 11 PM. It's part of their Game Nights and Movie Nights series, and this one puts Super Smash Bros front and center, played on a Nintendo Switch and projected onto the venue's giant LED wall. If you've never seen the game that big, it's a different experience entirely.
The fighter roster is deep: Simon Belmont and King K. Rool join Inkling, Ridley, and every other fighter in the series. There are new stages too, with levels based on the Castlevania series, Super Mario Odyssey, and more. The night is set up as a chance to hone your skills before the venue's upcoming Super Smash Bros tournament, which will offer prizes.
If you're not in the mood to compete, there's plenty of other ground to cover. The night includes a wide array of classic and modern board and card games, and you're welcome to bring your own from home. It's a casual atmosphere with a full bar and a full menu, so you can hang out and eat while you play. Under-18s can attend as long as they're with a parent or legal guardian.
