Trivia Mafia at Inbound

Trivia Mafia is back at Inbound Brewing Company on Wednesday, November 4, from 7 PM to 9 PM. If you've been around the Minneapolis bar scene for a while, you've likely run into them. They're a local trivia operation that runs nights all over the city, and this one is part of their ongoing series at Inbound.

There's one rule that defines every Trivia Mafia night: "Use your noodle. Not your Google." It's a simple enough line, but it's the whole point. The game is about what you actually know—the random facts you've picked up over the years, the things you can recall on the fly—rather than who's fastest with a search engine. It's a proper trivia night in that sense: you bring a team, you lean on each other's knowledge, and you let the questions do the heavy lifting. If you've never played, the format is pretty standard: rounds of questions, team answers, and a leaderboard that keeps track of who's on top as the night goes on.

Trivia Mafia describes itself as producing the highest-quality trivia nights in the city, and they've built a following around that claim. The Inbound sessions are part of their regular rotation, so if you miss this one, there's usually another one coming up soon. It's the kind of thing that works best when you bring a few friends along to cover the gaps in your own knowledge—one person for the history, one for the pop culture, one for the sports—and let the night play out over a few rounds.

The session runs from 7 PM to 9 PM at Inbound Brewing Company, 701 N 5th St., Minneapolis, MN 55401. It's a mid-week night, so it's an easy way to break up the work week with something that doesn't require a whole weekend's commitment.
