Weekly Thursday trivia night hosted by James at Padraigs Brewing in Northeast Minneapolis.
Trivia Mafia is back at Padraigs Brewing on Thursday, October 22, as part of their regular Thursday night run in Northeast Minneapolis. It's free to play, and the game kicks off at 7 PM.
Trivia Mafia bills itself as offering "the world's best trivia" at bars, breweries, restaurants and taprooms across the country, and they keep the options open: you can play in person at the brewery or join from home via Zoom and Twitch. The Thursday night at Padraigs is hosted by James, a long-time Trivia Mafia player who made the jump to hosting. He's a former high school quiz bowl player, and when he's not running trivia, he works as a professional canoe and backpacking guide and a government auditor. It's a bit of a range for one person—from the wilderness to the audit trail to the quiz master's mic.
Padraigs Brewing, located at 945 Broadway St NE, started from a passion for traditional craft brewing. Their first brew was a humble Irish Red Ale, and since then the taproom has expanded into classic Irish brews, including an award-winning Dry Stout, alongside Hazy and West Coast IPAs. It's a dog-friendly spot inside and out, so you can bring your dog along for the night.
