Holiday comedy sketch show, Brave New Workshop's 69th holiday season tradition, with sketches, songs and a version of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.
The Little Bummer Boy opens at the Dudley Riggs Theatre on Thursday, November 12, and runs through January 16, 2027. It's the Brave New Workshop's 69th holiday season tradition, which they bill as the longest-running comedy theatre in America. The show is presented by Hennepin Arts and produced by Brave New Workshop, with Caleb McEwen directing, Jon Pumper on music direction, and Matthew Vichlach as technical director.
As for what you'll see, the production is built on sketches, songs, and the company's version of The Twelve Days of Christmas. It's a holiday show, so it fits right into that window when you're looking for something to do with a group of friends or family over the break. The run starts with previews on Thursday, November 12; Friday, November 13; Saturday, November 14; Thursday, November 19; and Friday, November 20, all at 7:30 PM. Opening night is Saturday, November 21, also at 7:30 PM, and weekly performances continue through January 16.

If you're planning to go, it's worth keeping the dates in mind. The preview performances give you a few options before the official opening, and since it runs well into January, you've got plenty of time to fit it in around the holidays. Tickets are handled through the State Theatre Box Office at 805 Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis, and every performance starts at 7:30 PM.
