Animales BBQ Co. is hosting a Survivor watch party for episode 10 on Wednesday, November 25, from 7 PM to 8 PM. If you've been following the season, this is one of those mid-week nights when it's a lot more fun to watch the tribal council with a crowd than on your own couch.
Animales is in the Harrison neighborhood, west of downtown and near International Market Square, the Sculpture Garden, and Target Field. The space is 12,500 to 13,000 square feet, with a full-service bar, a live music stage, and a patio. It's a big room, so there's plenty of space to settle in with a drink and some food while the episode plays.
The watch party is part of a larger calendar the venue keeps running. Between the Survivor nights, they do live music, line dancing, artist-hosted karaoke, and Shuck Fest, all served over BBQ. They call themselves "The Official unofficial bbq of Minnesota," a nod to their start as a trailer that spent years serving customers before they opened this permanent home. The business is currently celebrating eight years of smoking meat in Minneapolis and its first anniversary as a brick-and-mortar.
