Irish artist Shee performs live at Green Room as part of the Backyard Boombox series, with support from Baby Bop and others.
SHEE makes their Minneapolis debut at Green Room on Saturday, October 17. The night is presented by Backyard Boombox, and the Irish artist takes the headlining slot on a bill that runs from 8 PM to 2 AM.
Backyard Boombox bills the night as house, funk, disco and UKG, so you've got a fair idea of the ground it covers. That mix puts the house and disco side by side with the breakbeat swing of UK garage, and the funk ties it together. It's a broad spread for one night, and since SHEE is the first time they've played here, it's a good chance to hear how they handle it.
SHEE isn't coming alone. The support lineup is a long one, with Baby Bop, TNA, Colin Udvig, Yoshi, Xaca, Burde and Outdeep all on the bill. With seven names filling out the night around the headliner, the music starts well before SHEE takes over, and it keeps going long after.
