Chicago heavy rock quartet REZN perform with support from lowheaven and Linus at the historic 7th St Entry venue.
REZN play 7th St Entry on Sunday, November 1, with lowheaven and Linus opening. The Chicago quartet — Patrick Dunn, Phil Cangelosi, Spencer Ouellette and Rob McWilliams — have been building a following in heavy music since they formed in the spring of 2020, right under the dark clouds of the pandemic and stay-at-home orders. Their sound pairs seismic riffs with a sense of grandeur, and their first two albums, Solace (2023) and Burden (2024), worked the contrast between light and dark. Their newest full-length, Cycles in the Infinite Dream, came out on July 24 on Sargent House.
The 7th St Entry is the smaller room attached to the historic First Avenue, and it's where you'll find the whole bill. It's been in the same spot since 1980, occupying what was once the Greyhound Cafe in the former Greyhound bus station. The night is ages 18+.
