A free, all-ages family concert with kid-friendly programming, interactive stations, a balloon artist and a creative hair station.
Koo Koo with DJ Hamsterdance takes the stage at Green Room on Saturday, October 24, as part of the MNIVA Family Gathering Concert Series. It's a morning show, running from 10 AM to 2 PM, with doors opening right at 10.
If you haven't come across it yet, the MNIVA Family Gathering Concert Series is a nine-part run put together by MNIVA and built for the whole family. The idea is to bring kid-friendly programming — family-first sets, interactive moments, and creative stations — to a different independent Minneapolis venue every week. It's powered by the local music community and the City of Minneapolis, so it's a local effort through and through.
There's more going on than just the music. Every event in the series features a balloon animal artist and a creative hair station, plus coloring sheets, temporary tattoos, and stickers at the MNIVA table. It's the kind of setup where the kids can drift between the stage and the activities, so you aren't just sitting in one spot for the whole morning.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Minneapolis and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
