Live music performance by Matty & The Subtle Validation at the 331 Club in Minneapolis.
Matty & The Subtle Validation play the 331 Club on Friday, November 6, with Fever Field opening. It's a double bill on a Friday night in northeast Minneapolis, and the set is built around Matty's debut solo EP.
For those who haven't heard the name, this is Matty's first project under his own banner. He spent a decade playing gigs around Chicago with the indie rockers Buckman Page and the front-porch folk act Distant Brothers, so he's not new to the stage. He and his partner moved to northeast Minneapolis in 2021, and this project grew out of his quest to find ways to connect with and validate others through music, grounded in the belief that everyone deserves value. The show celebrates the release of that debut solo EP, so you'll be hearing the new material live.
