Aged 18+ show in which Kitchen Dwellers and Dogs In A Pile play First Avenue's Mainroom.
Kitchen Dwellers and Dogs In A Pile play First Avenue on Saturday, November 14. It's a double bill in the Mainroom, and the two acts come from very different corners of the map.
Kitchen Dwellers are out of Montana, and they've been carving out their own lane in progressive roots music. They blend bluegrass and folk with a psychedelic grit, and they describe the sound as being as expansive as their home state. It's roots music that doesn't stay in one place, leaning into the jam side of things rather than sticking to a traditional folk songbook.
Dogs In A Pile are a five-piece from Asbury Park, New Jersey. Their sound is organic, and they've been building a name for themselves on the road. Between the two, you've got a Montana roots outfit and a New Jersey five-piece sharing the same stage on a Saturday night in Minneapolis.
