Candlelight concert of Vivaldi's Four Seasons by the Listeso String Quartet at the Granada Theater.
Listeso String Quartet is bringing Vivaldi's Four Seasons to the Granada Theater on Thursday, December 17. It's part of the Candlelight series, which does exactly what the name says: it stages classical music in a room lit by candlelight. The Four Seasons is the main feature, and the quartet will be playing it through the night.
The performance runs about 65 minutes. Doors open half an hour before the music starts, and they don't let anyone in once it's begun, so you'll want to be in your seat before the first note. It's a multi-sensory thing—the candlelight is as much a part of the evening as the music—and the Four Seasons is a familiar enough piece that you can just sit back and let it run.
