A candlelit concert by the Listeso String Quartet that reimagines Coldplay and Imagine Dragons songs in a historic downtown Minneapolis church.
Listeso String Quartet is taking over The Westminster Presbyterian Sanctuary on Friday, November 20, for a Candlelight tribute to Coldplay and Imagine Dragons. It's part of the Candlelight series, which reimagines popular repertoire in locations lit by thousands of LED candles meant to mimic the glow of flameless candlelight. The quartet will spend the hour working through songs from both bands, so you'll hear a mix of the two in one set.
The venue is a good part of the draw. The Westminster Presbyterian Sanctuary is a 1,500-capacity historic church in downtown Minneapolis, listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its Gothic and Romanesque architecture. It's known for its circular design and stained glass windows, and it's often praised for its interior and acoustics. The performance runs about an hour, and it's a tribute concert, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the original artists.
