Candlelight: Tribute to Taylor Swift

Listeso String Quartet is taking over the Granada Theater on Friday, November 6, for a candlelit tribute to Taylor Swift. It's a one-hour set that works its way through her eras, stories, and melodies in a medley of her hits, all performed live by the quartet. The show isn't associated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Swift or her official representatives.

The venue is part of the draw. The Granada Theater in Uptown Minneapolis was a silent film house in the 1920s, and while it's had a contemporary makeover, it still holds onto its Spanish-Revival architecture. For this concert, the room is lit by nothing but candles, and the music comes from the string quartet rather than a full band or a recording. There's a bit of a pre-and-post-show option too: dinner is available in the Uptown Lobby both before and after the performance, so you can make a full evening of it. Just keep in mind that tickets have to be bought through the Fever app or website rather than at the venue itself.

The concert starts at 6:30 PM and runs for 60 minutes. Doors open 30 minutes before and close 5 minutes prior, so you'll want to be in your seat by 6:25 PM if you're planning to catch the whole thing. Tickets are $70 to $90.
