Candlelit tribute concert in which the Listeso String Quartet plays Coldplay and Imagine Dragons hits under the glow of thousands of candles.
Listeso String Quartet takes the stage at the Granada Theatre on Saturday, January 30, 2027, for a Candlelight concert that puts Coldplay and Imagine Dragons side by side. It's a tribute show, not a performance by the bands themselves, so you're getting string quartet arrangements of songs you probably know by heart rather than the original recordings. The whole thing is performed under the glow of thousands of candles, which is the signature of the Candlelight series.
The program is a split between the two bands. From Coldplay, the quartet is planning Clocks, Adventure of a Lifetime, Fix You, The Scientist, feelslikeimfallinginlove, Sky Full of Stars, Viva la Vida and My Universe. Imagine Dragons takes the other half with Radioactive, Eyes Closed, Thunder, Follow You, Bad Liar and Believer. It's a long list of songs, so the set should keep moving through the night.
The venue is the Granada Theatre at 3022 Hennepin Ave in Uptown. It's a historic 600-capacity room built in 1928 as an atmospheric movie palace in the Spanish Churrigueresque style, and its curved ceiling projects stars and clouds to make the room feel like an outdoor Spanish garden. The Candlelight series describes its shows as multi-sensory experiences that blend classical arrangements with contemporary tributes, and this one fits that description—two modern bands reimagined for a string quartet in a room that looks like a garden under the stars.
