A string quartet reimagines 90s rock hits in a candlelight show at the historic Granada Theater in Uptown Minneapolis.
Listeso String Quartet is bringing a Candlelight concert to the Granada Theater on Friday, December 11, 2026. The set is a tribute to 90s rock, with the quartet reimagining hits from that decade for strings. It's not a performance by the original artists, and it isn't linked to or sponsored by them, so you're getting the songs through a string arrangement rather than the records as you remember them.
The venue is part of the experience. The Granada Theater is an atmospheric movie palace in Uptown Minneapolis that opened in 1928 in the Spanish Churrigueresque style. Its curved ceiling projects stars and clouds, meant to evoke an outdoor Spanish garden, and a contemporary makeover has left that Spanish-Revival architecture intact. The room holds 600 people, and the performance takes place under the glow of thousands of candles.

The venue is ADA-compliant, but keep in mind that Zone A seating requires stairs. Within each zone, seats are assigned first-come, first-served, so the earlier you get there, the better your spot.
