An immersive exhibition and live performance by Misha B featuring artworks, soundscapes, installations and live music, exploring creativity as a space for healing and connection.
Misha B brings her first immersive exhibition, Stay In Those Colours, to Aviva Studios on Sunday 18 October. It's a one-day event that runs from 2pm, with the exhibition open from 2pm to 6pm and a live performance following from 6pm to 7.30pm. The whole thing is presented through her creative platform, MuseumMisha, and forms part of Black History Month.
B is a Manchester-born multidisciplinary artist whose work spans visual art, music, storytelling and immersive experiences. Stay In Those Colours is her first immersive exhibition, and it's built around three interconnected chapters: Arrival, Reflection and Release. The experience takes you from original artworks, installations and creative activities in the Lab to a media wall experience in The Social, before the final chapter culminates in a live performance by B herself, joined by live musicians and special guests. The whole thing asks how creativity can become a space for healing, connection and collective transformation.
B describes the show as a celebration of the power of creativity to spark conversation, nurture belonging and remind us of the resilience within us all. It's a long afternoon that moves from the gallery side of things into a live set, so you can spend a few hours with the installations before the music takes over.
