Sao Paulo Dance Company | UK Tour 2027

Sao Paulo Dance Company are bringing their UK tour to the Lyric Theatre at The Lowry on Friday 19 February 2027. It's a Brazilian company, and they're touring the UK, so this is one of the dates they'll be playing on this side of the Atlantic.

What they're bringing to Manchester is bold Brazilian energy and world-class dance. If you're not familiar with them, they're a company from Sao Paulo, and that's where the energy comes from — the rhythms and the movement of Brazil. It's a dance company, so the whole thing is built around movement rather than a script or a song list. The 'world-class' part is their claim, and it's the kind of thing that's easier to judge once you've seen them in the flesh than from a description.

They'll be performing at The Lowry, in the Lyric Theatre, which is one of the main stages there. It's a proper theatre space, so you'll have a clear view of the company on stage. The date is Friday 19 February 2027, so it's a Friday night out in Salford Quays, with the Lowry's usual mix of other things going on around it. If you've been to the Lyric before, you'll know the layout — it's a good spot for seeing a company like this.
