Make & Create: Perfume Making

Make & Create: Perfume Making is at The Social, Aviva Studios on Tuesday 15 December, a winter fragrance workshop curated by Kushbu Perfumery. It's part of the 'Make & Create' series, a run of evening workshops led by industry professionals in The Social, where crafts meet cocktails. The whole series is pitched as a chance to pick up a new skill and express your own personal style in a fun, relaxed setting, and this session fits that bill: you'll spend the evening blending aromatic notes ranging from evergreen to spice to craft your own signature fragrance. The winter theme runs through it, so it's a scent you'll actually want to wear through the colder months.

Kushbu Perfumery is behind the curation, and the session runs for two hours and fifteen minutes, starting at 6.15pm. It's an 18+ only workshop, and there's one specific request for the night: please don't wear perfume when you arrive. It's a practical one — when you're working with a range of scents, you want your own nose clear so you can actually tell what you're blending. The Social is in the St John's area of Manchester, M3 4JQ, and the standard ticket is £10.
