A concert by Tony and Grammy Award winner Leslie Odom, Jr., featuring selections from the American Songbook, reimagined pop favourites and musical theatre classics, including songs from Hamilton.
Leslie Odom, Jr. plays The Bridgewater Hall on Tuesday 27 October, his first Manchester date since the show was announced. He's a Tony and Grammy winner, three-time Emmy nominee and two-time Academy Award nominee, and he works across Broadway, film, television, music and publishing. He's also a songwriter, actor, producer and a New York Times bestselling author.
He earned his Tony for playing Aaron Burr in Hamilton, and the evening leans on that. The set draws from the American Songbook, reimagined pop favourites and musical theatre classics, with special performances of songs from Hamilton mixed in. It's a broad reach — standards, pop, and theatre on one bill.
There's a Premium Experience available too, which gives you access to The Lounge before the concert and during the interval. If you're planning to make a proper night of it, that's the one to look at.
