A beginner-friendly pottery workshop led by local artist Millie of Happy Yappy Clay, where participants create pinch pots, trinket dishes, or tea-light holders.
Happy Yappy Clay are running a pottery workshop at The Lab, Aviva Studios on Sunday 8 November, with local artist Millie leading the session. It's a two-hour workshop that starts at 2pm, and it's free to attend.
The session is built to be fun and accessible to everyone, from total beginners who've never touched clay to people who've sculpted before. You'll learn how to work with clay and make a pinch pot, a trinket dish, an incense tray or a tea-light holder, and you'll leave with one or two of your creations to decorate at home. It's a hands-on afternoon, so you'll be making things rather than just watching.
