Festive Voices: Sing Out Music

Sing Out Music Gospel Choir are performing at The Social, Aviva Studios on Saturday 19 December, as part of the Festive Voices: Sing Out Music series. It's a free live music session that brings together some of Manchester's favourite choirs, bands and workshops under one roof, with the gospel choir taking the lead on this date.

If you're not familiar with the series, Festive Voices is about showcasing the city's local choral scene. The sessions run for an hour and are suitable for all ages, with under-14s attending with an adult aged 18 or over. On the day, there's a warming hot chocolate to go with the music, which is a nice touch when the December weather is doing its worst outside. The choir's set is the main draw here, so it's a good spot if you're after some gospel singing in the middle of the festive run-up.

There's a second date in the series on Sunday 3 January 2027, also from 1.15 to 2.15pm, if you're looking for something to do in the quiet stretch after New Year. Both run for the same hour, so you can pick the one that fits your schedule better.

Tickets are free, but you do need to book them in advance through Factory International. The venue is The Social inside Aviva Studios, in the St John's area of Manchester (M3 4JQ). Both sessions run from 1.15pm to 2.15pm.
