Free live festive music from the Rosamund Brass Quartet within the Festive Live programme at Aviva Studios.
Rosamund Brass Quartet play The Social at Aviva Studios on Saturday 9 January, from 5.45pm to 6.45pm. It's a free performance, though you'll need to pre-book your place. If you need an access ticket, those have to be sorted directly through Factory International.
The quartet formed in September 2020 at the Royal Northern College of Music, and they've been playing across the UK ever since. They've appeared at the RNCM Festival of Brass, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, the ITV Christmas carol service and the 2025 Lucerne Festival. In May 2022, they won the RNCM's Philip Jones Brass prize and the audience vote for the Chris Rowland Ensemble of the Year Prize — and they managed to do both again in 2023.
This is part of Factory International's free festive live-music series at Aviva Studios, which brings local choirs, bands and workshops into the venue. It sits within the wider winter programme running from 1 December 2026 to 31 January 2027, which pairs festive music with immersive exhibitions like David Bowie: You're Not Alone and Prehistoric Planet: Discovering Dinosaurs. The show is suitable for all ages, with under-14s needing to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
