Bowie In The City: Let's Jam

Bowie In The City: Let's Jam comes to The Social, Aviva Studios on Friday 11 December, a one-off night built around David Bowie's album You're Not Alone. The evening is a genre-blending live music showcase with seven artists from across the North West, each delivering a performance inspired by Bowie's most iconic eras. It's a single night's work, not a recurring series, so it only happens once.

The line-up is drawn from the North West, and the organisers have run an open call to find performers who traverse genres in the spirit of the Starman to join the bill. The whole thing sits within the wider David Bowie: You're Not Alone season, which runs at Aviva Studios from 8 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, so this is one of several things happening around the album over those few weeks.

It starts at 7.15pm and runs for about three hours, with seven different acts taking turns across the night. Tickets are free, though you'll need to book them in advance. The venue is The Social inside Aviva Studios on Water Street, M3 4JQ, and the age guidance is 16+.
