The Warburg Institute is one of the world's leading centres for the study of art and culture, founded by Aby Warburg in Hamburg at the turn of the 20th century. It is part of the University of London and includes the Kythera Gallery, its first public gallery space, and the Hinrich Reemtsma Auditorium, a 110-seat venue built for lectures, performances and film screenings.
