Free drum and bass night with breaks, minimal and rollers at The Cause, a London warehouse.
XXL DNB takes over The Cause tomorrow, Friday 23 October, for a full night of drum and bass, breaks and minimal rollers. It's a London warehouse space, and the session is built around those three sounds running side by side rather than sticking to one corner of the genre.
If you're not entirely sure where that puts the night, it's a fair bit broader than a standard DNB clubber. You've got the drum and bass as the anchor, the breaks bringing in those syncopated, broken beats, and the minimal rollersβthe stripped-back, rolling basslines that keep things moving without getting too cluttered. The three work well together, so the set can shift from one to the other without it feeling like a jump. It's the kind of night that lets you drift between the heavier stuff and the more stripped-down side of things, and since it's a warehouse, there's plenty of room to move.

It's a one-night thing at The Cause, so if you're into DNB and its cousins, this is the one to keep on your radar for tomorrow. Entry is free, which makes it an easy one to roll up to without thinking twice about it. If you've been looking for a night that does more than just one sound, this is a good shout.
