Interactive talk facilitated by Tito Mogaji about the questions that fuel creative work, open to east London creatives aged 18+.
Tito Mogaji facilitates Why We Ask at the V&A East Storehouse on Sunday 10 January, from 13:00 to 15:00. It's part of the V&A's Ideas Exchange, a series of interactive talks open to anyone living, working or studying in east London, aged 18 and over, from emerging to established within the creative sector.
The session starts the new year rooted in radical curiosity and critical enquiry, focusing on the questions that fuel creative work and imagination. You'll be asked to reflect on the questions that have led you to your own creative discoveries and innovation, and to explore how the questions we ask shape the work we make and how curiosity can be nurtured within the creative process. A revolving question exchange runs through the session, where people take turns answering meaningful questions about their creative practice, their perspectives and the lessons they've picked up along the way.
Tito Mogaji leads the afternoon. He's the founder of Nourishment, a community and cultural agency that works to connect underrepresented communities with arts and culture through curated experiences, campaigns and partnerships. The session will be documented through film, photography and live artist interpretation.
