Immersive evening of cocktail mixology and live theatre telling the stories of Churchill, Schindler, Turing and Anne Frank.
Wartime Stories: A Poured History of World War II opens at Glaziers Hall on 23 January 2027, and runs through to 20 February. It's a bit of a hybrid: craft mixology meets live theatre, with the hall turned into an atmospheric refuge from a world at war.
Over the course of the night, you're served four distinct cocktails, each one designed to reflect the era, the spirit, the courage and the humanity of a historical figure. While you drink, actors stage the stories around you: defiance whispered in bomb shelters, secrets kept behind enemy lines, codes broken in silence and hope written by candlelight. The figures they focus on are Churchill, Schindler, Turing and Anne Frank, so the night moves through fear, resistance and hope. It's an evening of premium drinks and immersive storytelling, and there's no audience participation required, so you can just sit back and watch it unfold.
