Immersive Victorian murder mystery for over-21s in which guests interrogate four suspects to solve a poisoning at a card game in 1873 Mayfair.
Mr Fogg's Residence is running a Victorian murder mystery called Poison at the Card Table - A Gentleman Struck Down in Mayfair!, and it's on this Saturday, 7 November. The whole thing is set in 1873 at the Mayfair home of Phileas J. Fogg, and that's where the story kicks off: Mr John Sullivan collapses during a card game, poisoned by a tainted cocktail. From there, you're brought in to solve the crime.
You'll be surrounded by artefacts and antiquities from around the world, and you've got an hour to interrogate the four suspects: Miss Julia Forester, Andrew Stuart, Samuel Fallentin and Mrs Gauthier Ralph. Inspector Fix is there to guide you through it, and the themed cocktails you'll be drinking along the way can double as clues. It's a proper immersive setup, so you're not just watching it happen — you're in the room, asking the questions and piecing it together.
