VÍCIO: Saturday Kizomba Classes & Party Until 5AM

VÍCIO is back at Casa Ritmo on Saturday 24 October, and it's one of those nights that doesn't really stop until the sun is well up. The evening runs from 8:00 pm on Saturday through to 5:00 am on Sunday morning, so if you're planning on staying for the whole thing, you'll want to clear your Sunday schedule.

The night follows a two-part format. It kicks off with Kizomba classes from 8:00 pm, which is the best way to get your bearings before the social side takes over. Whether you're just starting out or you've been dancing for a while, the classes give you a chance to work on your lead and follow before you hit the floor. Once the teaching wraps up, the party takes over and runs right through the night until 5:00 am, so there's plenty of room to put what you've just learned into practice.

Casa Ritmo is based in Elephant and Castle at 64-66 Newington Causeway, and it's a dance studio and event venue that specialises in Kizomba classes, workshops and social dance parties. Because it's a dedicated dance space, the whole night is built around the music rather than just having a dancefloor as an afterthought. The classes and the party happen under one roof, so you can move from the lesson straight into the social without leaving the building.
