Headline metal show by Urne, presented by Action!, with special guests The Grey and Moon Reaper at The Dome.
Urne play The Dome on Sunday 15 November, presented by Action!. They're a London metal trio who've built a name for themselves in the underground, with more than two studio albums behind them and festival slots like Download in the UK. The set is shared with special guests The Grey and Moon Reaper, so it's a full bill rather than a standalone headline.
If you've followed them, you'll know where they're coming from. They blend snarling hardcore and extreme inflections with a strong sense of heavy metal's classicism, and they've built a reputation on grit, swagger and grandiosity. Frontman Joe Nally has shared the studio with Mastodon's Troy Sanders, who contributed guest vocals to the nine-minute-plus epic Harken The Waves.
They're in a new era now. A show on 13 September saw them play their longest set yet, debut new songs live and introduce a new Urne lineup. Since then, they've announced a headline run across Germany and France, a headline show at London's Camden Assembly, and a slot supporting Orange Goblin on the band's UK farewell tour in December. This date at The Dome sits right in the middle of that run, so it's one of the first times you'll hear the new lineup and new material together.
