Truffle House Pre-Halloween Party

Truffle House is taking over The Purple Owl in Wandsworth on Friday 23 October for a pre-Halloween party that puts truffle right at the centre of the night. It's an 18-plus event, and the whole thing runs from 17:00 to 22:00, so it's more of an early-evening affair than a late one.

The food is the main draw here, with Chef Joaquin Aguilar putting together four canapés: fresh oysters, black rice and truffle croquettes, and butternut and truffle tartlets, plus a fourth dish made specially for the night with fresh truffle shaved at the counter. Those canapés go out from around 19:00 to 21:00, so there's a two-hour window to work your way through them. Truffle House frames the night as 'no ordinary Friday', pairing the food, the music and the truffle in a single room.

On the music side, there's a live piano set and four DJ sets running all evening, so the room stays loud long after the canapés have finished. A full bar stays open until closing, too.
