Headline soul, funk and jazz night with Tris and the Tribe, supported by Tootawl, at The Bedford in Balham.
Tris and the Tribe play The Bedford on Tuesday 27 October, their first headline show at the Balham venue. They're supported by Tootawl, and the night is billed as one of soul, jazz and funk.
Tris and the Tribe is a London-based soul, funk and jazz band fronted by singer-songwriter Tris Puri. He started out as a solo artist and session guitarist before building a full sound around a rhythm section, a horn section and backing singers, mixing funk, soul and jazz with poppy hooks and guitar solos. The group has played some of London's most legendary rooms, including the Half Moon in Putney and the Camden Club, and has delivered several sold-out Sofar Sounds shows; Jazz FM has also featured them.
