Autechre play their biggest ever headline show in total darkness at Magazine London, presented by The Hydra.
Autechre play Magazine London on Saturday 24 October, their biggest headline show to date. The night is presented by The Hydra, and the duo's set runs for 90 minutes, performed in total darkness — a move that stays true to their experimental ethos. They're joined on the bill by space afrika (live) and MDX, who's associated with the Skam and Geskom labels.
Autechre are the project of Sean Booth and Rob Brown, one of electronic music's most enigmatic acts, and they've spent decades pushing the boundaries of synthesis and rhythm. This London date comes after a run of sold-out touring throughout 2025, which included live performances in Japan in February. It's part of a wider set of newly announced dates across Europe in September and October 2026, and this one is billed as their biggest headline show ever.
