The Halloween Takeover

The Halloween Takeover is taking over Layali Lounge at Country Club Trent Park on Saturday 31 October, running from 9 pm until 2:30 am. It's a long one, over five and a half hours of music, and the promoters are billing it as one of North London's biggest Halloween nights of the year. The music doesn't stick to one corner of the dancefloor, either; it works its way through house, garage, afrohouse, hip hop, R&B and bashment, so the sound shifts as the night goes on.

DJ George M is on the decks, with DJ Andreas M and special guest JJ on live vocals. JJ is a UK garage legend, and he'll be performing his hits live, including Masterblaster 2000, Ain't No Stoppin' Us and Poison. There's a second special guest PA that follows from 1 am, so the live side of things keeps going well into the early hours.

It's strictly over-18s, and the dress code is dress-to-impress, so it's the kind of night where you'll want to put some effort into your outfit. Free parking is available on-site, which is a handy one for a North London venue. Doors open at 9 pm, and tickets are £20 via Eventbrite.
