Queer Doctor Who-themed ARDIS ball with live cabaret, a costume parade, charity raffle and a same-sex dance floor, strictly 18+.
The Gallifrey Cabaret returns to The Clapham Grand on Thursday 22 October for its third annual Monsters & Aliens Ball. It's a queer ARDIS night inspired by Doctor Who, and this year's edition is billed as an interstellar adventure aboard the legendary ARDIS. The evening mixes live cabaret with cosmic campery: there's a costume parade with a special guest judge and a grand prize, a charity raffle with Whovian prizes and exclusive merchandise, and a small same-sex dance floor.
The night is strictly 18+, and they run a NOTAFLOF ('not turned away from lack of funds') scheme for anyone struggling to pay. There's live BSL interpretation on stage, and it's a safe space for LGBTQ+ people and allies. A raffle runs throughout the night, with the proceeds split between Cabaret Vs Cancer and a guest charity. Cosplay is welcome, but cultural appropriation is not.
