Stand-up show by Romanian comedian Victor Patrascan, who calls himself 'Europe's comedy nomad', on politics, culture and modern life.
Victor Patrascan brings his show, The Biggest Problem in the World, to The Comedy Store on Wednesday 21 October. It's a stand-up set performed entirely in English, with the show running from 20:00 to 22:00 and doors opening at 19:30. The night is for over 18s.
Patrascan is a Romanian comedian and social commentator who has spent the last six years touring non-stop across Europe, Asia and the Middle East without a stable address to call his own. He describes himself as 'Europe's comedy nomad and rebel comedian-philosopher', and claims to be the only comedian in the world who is permanently on tour. He works entirely independently, without agents or sponsors, and has performed in more than 60 countries — landing on a few government watchlists along the way. In 2026, he's planning shows on two new continents.
His comedy comes from that vagabond life, rooted in the quirks, contradictions and stereotypes he picks up in every place he visits. He's produced and performed the first ever solo English comedy shows in Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and was the first English-speaking comedian to tour Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Iceland, Japan, Cyprus and Poland. The set is observational humour on politics, culture and modern life, all told from the perspective of someone who's spent years on the move.
