Sultan + Shepard (DJ)

Sultan + Shepard play UNLOCKED in Shoreditch on Friday 23 October, a DJ set that runs from 22:00 until 02:30. The night is presented by PERCOLATE, and it's strictly over-18s, so you'll need photo ID at the door.

For those who haven't come across them, Sultan + Shepard are the Grammy-nominated duo of Ossama Al Sarraf and Ned Shepard. They first crossed paths at a late-night bar in Montreal back in 2002, and from there they started making original songs with an appetite for EDM and deep house. Over the years, they've become known for their emotional, melodic house and progressive soundscapes — the kind of music that works just as well for a long night on the dancefloor as it does for listening in.

That's the core of what they do: melodic house and progressive sounds, with the emotional side of things given plenty of room. It's a sound that sits somewhere between the dancefloor and something a bit more atmospheric, and this set will be built around that. The night is presented by PERCOLATE, and as it's strictly over-18s, you'll need to bring photo ID to get in.

It's a late one, starting at 22:00 and going until 02:30, so you've got a good few hours of music to get through. Tickets are £34.63, and the venue is UNLOCKED at 118 Curtain Rd, London EC2A 3AY.
