Fan-run Star Trek meetup with cosplay, including a group photo, at MCM Comic Con London in ExCeL.
USS Londonium are hosting a Star Trek fan meet at ExCeL on Saturday 24 October, as part of MCM Comic Con London. It runs from 2:30 to 3:15pm, with a big group photo around 2:45pm, so if you're coming for the picture, you'll want to be there early.
For those who haven't come across them, USS Londonium is a fan-run Star Trek meetup group. They describe themselves as a fictional 'fan ship' established in 2022 where members gather to share their love of the franchise. They meet at least once a month, mostly around London, and the sessions range from casual pub gets and Bridge Command missions to games nights and cosplay fan meets at comic cons across the UK and overseas. Cosplay is always encouraged, so if you've got a uniform or a specific character you've been wanting to wear, this is a good place to bring it out.
The group follows a 'Prime Directive' of no bullying or harassment, and they encourage RSVPs. You'll need a comic con ticket to attend, so make sure yours is sorted before you head down. If it rains, they'll post an indoor location inside ExCeL in the event comments on Meetup and on Instagram Stories, so it's worth keeping an eye on those if the weather looks dodgy.

Finding them on the day takes a bit of navigating. They'll be at Immerse LDN, ExCeL Waterfront, London, E16 1XL — at the bottom of the steps and ramp opposite the Western entrance to ExCeL, near the barricade. Look for the club flags to spot the group. You can follow them at @uss_londonium on Instagram for updates.
